My new mini PC arrived finally, it is somehow cheap but decent. And is perfect for running a PBS server. This will be my main backup server for my homelab. I have already installed the Proxmox Backup Server and configured it to work with my Proxmox VE cluster. I also set up a few backup jobs to test it out. The performance is great, and I am very happy with the results so far.

Today I updated my self-hosted Uptime-Kuma instance to the v2.0.0 release. This is a major update that brings a lot of new features and improvements. The most notable change is that we can drop sqlite and move to MariaDB as backend database. There are many other changes, but the performance improvements are the most noticeable. The UI is also much more responsive and snappier.

Spent the weekend working on my standard physics analysis. I'm working on branching ratio measurement for charmonium states in the B decays semi-leptonic decays. It's a complex task, but I'm making progress. The data is looking good, and I hope to have some preliminary results soon.

There's something magical about the combination of good coffee and elegant code. Currently refactoring my particle physics simulation code, and the improvements are beautiful. Clean code is like poetry - every line matters, every abstraction tells a story.

This is my first moment. The new idea that I decided use to share my very quick old twitter era style thoughts. The idea is simple. Have a section of my blog where I can share quick thoughts, That no one will see, but that's fine I quitted social media. This is my new social media.
